Imagine standing on endless steppes under the bluest sky you’ve ever seen, staying in traditional gers with nomadic families, and riding camels across the mini Gobi —all without worrying about logistics, safety, or travelling alone. That’s exactly what I’m offering on my hosted Mongolia tour, and I’d love you to join me.
I’m personally hosting this 8-day, 7-night journey through Mongolia because I know what women my age actually need: authentic cultural experiences, comfortable accommodation that doesn’t compromise adventure, and the freedom to explore one of Asia’s last nomadic cultures without the usual solo travel anxieties.

Why Mongolia? Why Now?
Mongolia remains beautifully untouched by mass tourism. You’ll experience genuine nomadic hospitality, not staged performances. We’ll visit local families in their gers, learn about their centuries-old lifestyle, and understand how they’ve adapted to modern Mongolia whilst maintaining traditions. It’s cultural immersion at its finest—the kind you simply can’t get on cookie-cutter group tours.
What Makes This Tour Different
This isn’t your standard tour bus experience. We’ve designed every day to balance adventure with comfort, because I know you want authentic experiences without roughing it unnecessarily. We’ll stay in carefully selected ger camps with proper facilities, enjoy traditional Mongolian cuisine, and travel in comfortable vehicles with experienced drivers who know these unpaved roads like the back of their hands.
You’ll explore Ulaanbaatar’s, visit the ancient capital of Karakorum, ride two-humped Bactrian camels, and spend evenings under star-filled skies that city dwellers only dream about.

Designed for Women 45+ Travellers
Let’s be honest—most group tours cater to gap-year backpackers or retired couples. This tour is different. It’s specifically created for women who’ve earned their travel independence and want meaningful experiences with like-minded companions. Whether you’re travelling solo, with a friend, or simply want to join a small group of adventurous women, you’ll feel right at home.
Safety, comfort, and cultural respect are my priorities. I handle everything—permits, accommodation, transportation, and local guides—so you can focus entirely on the experience.
My friend and I were talked in to joining quite late and took up some of the last remaining spots. The tour seemed to cover a large area in Sri Lanka and was very affordable. Paula had managed to get a wonderful group of women together for this fabulous trip.
Everyday was packed with so much to see. The travel time (which I was not looking forward to) was so much fun because all the women were funny and entertaining. Paula would go out of her way to take us to something she thought we might enjoy. Her knowledge and enthusiasm really made the trip so memorable.
Love to go to Sri Lanka but my husband wasn’t interested, I booked and seriously the best decision I made. I’ve met life
Long friends and we had a good laugh good times and great sightseeing going to all the best places Sri Lanka offered, Paula was so great I booked her trip to Morocco later this year

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Mongolia safe for women travellers? Absolutely. Mongolia has low crime rates and Mongolians are famously hospitable. Plus, you’ll have me as your host, local guides, and experienced drivers throughout the journey. You’re never alone, and I’ve personally vetted every accommodation and activity for safety and comfort.
What’s the physical fitness requirement? You need moderate fitness—comfortable walking short distances and getting in/out of vehicles on bumpy roads. All activities are optional, and we pace ourselves sensibly. If you can manage daily walks at home, you’ll be fine.
Will I cope with ger accommodation? Our tourist ger camps have proper beds, heating, and shared bathroom facilities with hot showers. They’re comfortable and clean—think glamping rather than roughing it. Staying in gers is essential for the authentic Mongolia experience!
What’s included in the tour price? All accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), transportation within Mongolia, entrance fees, activities like camel riding and cultural performances, English-speaking guides, and my hosting services. Flights to/from Ulaanbaatar are not included.
Can I join if I’m travelling solo? Definitely! Most participants are solo travellers who want the adventure without the hassle of planning. You can choose single accommodation (supplement applies) or share with another participant to save costs. Either way, you’ll have instant travel companions.
