The Sunshine Coast is known for being one of the most beautiful spots to explore in Australia. Anyone living there would likely touch upon the gorgeous and luscious beaches, the vibrant forests, and a laid-back atmosphere that’s bound to attract all types of tourists.
If there’s an opportunity to visit the Sunshine Coast this year or next, here’s how to make the most out of the Sunshine Coast.
Head to the markets to buy some wares
The markets found on the Sunshine Coast are some of the best in all of Australia and beyond. Many markets are available with a lot of history attached to them and have been around for many years.
One of the most popular ones to go to is the Eumundi market. It’s one of the biggest markets offered on the Sunshine Coast, and people from all over the place visit these unique markets. They take place every Wednesday and Saturday. A shopper visiting this market will find a variety of art, crafts, and produce to choose from.
Some other markets include; Gympie Town Centre Growers Market, Marcoola Market, Kawana Waters Farmers’ Market, and Havana Nights Markets.
Get the best view with local rooftop bars.
If a tourist is looking for a popular spot to capture some of the best views of the Sunshine Coast, then heading to Maroochydore bars is well worth visiting. It’s a great spot that overlooks the area and is one of the finest rooftop bars available.
Offering foodie experiences and delicious dining options with drinks to match, it’s a good one to add to a to-do list when in this area.
Ride the waves at the beach
For those who love a beach setting, the Sunshine Coast is the perfect spot for hitting the waves. Many locals and tourists will head to this area to catch some rays and show off their surfing techniques.
Whether you’re a newcomer to surfing or have plenty of experience, take a trip down to the beach while in this location.
Explore the Glass House Mountains
It’s one location that must be seen to be believed. It’s indescribable and is a view that will be unforgettable. The Glass House Mountains are great for those wanting to escape the digital side of life, explore nature and walk through wildlife.
Take advantage of the local wildlife.
There’s lots of local wildlife in this area, and with its amazing rainforests, it’s an excellent opportunity to see everything Australia offers. However, it’s undoubtedly a world away for some who may not have such incredible wildlife in their own country.
There’s a lot to explore and enjoy for those who have visited Australia before but haven’t visited the Sunshine Coast. If anyone is new to Australia as a first-time traveller to the country, this part of the world will most definitely become a new favourite.
