My Experience
What makes a hotel so special? Is it luxury finishes? Or is it the standard you expect every time you check into a big chain hotel? Or perhaps it’s the special touches and attention to detail that the bigger hotel chain lacks?
I have stayed in many hotels, some fantastic, and others don’t even get a mention on my website. It has not been very often that I feel the need to write a heartfelt, dedicated review of a hotel until now!
This hotel needed a special mention in many of my boxes! It is now up there as a benchmark for other boutique hotels. Why? Because it was beautifully decorated, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was impeccable! It was that old-fashioned customer experience that you don’t get very often anymore.
Nothing was ever a problem by the staff; everything in the room was carefully thought out. From the in-room amenities to the thoughtful nightcap in the evening. My stay left me wishing that I stayed longer.
The room I stayed in was lovely, with unique features that included a luxurious bath and artistic elements that could be purchased if they caught your eye. The hotel’s attention to detail is impressive, from the hidden ensuites behind mirrors to the beautiful selection of herbal teas and snacks.
Thanks to the high-quality mattress and sleeping pack provided, my sleep was incredibly comfortable.
Overall, Circa 1928 Albury offers an unforgettable stay in Albury, combining historical charm with top-notch service and amenities. There are no hidden costs—everything you need is included in your stay, allowing you to enjoy your time in this exquisite boutique hotel fully.
